I’m not much of a comic person. But one comic that I really liked was Wasted by Gerry Alanguilan. I was in my early teens when I saw it at a shop selling magazines and comic books near our place. It was over the top, but I liked it. Mr. Gerry Alanguilan is really nice too. I have a friend who liked ‘Wasted’ so much, I wanted to give her a copy as a gift but I had trouble finding one. I emailed Mr. Gerry, and he did replied, and even promised to reserve a signed copy for me at some local event (though for some reason, I didn’t go).
You can read it online (it’s in English) here:

Or if you prefer reading it in other formats, Mr. Gerry is kind enough to also post them here:

candles at saint jude on a thursday
there are a huge number of catholic churches in the philippines and some get visited more than most. saint jude parish church — the feast day of which falls on a thursday — is one of them. people light up candles and pray for a favor to be granted.

san agustin church, intramuros circa 1990s
i revisited san agustin church this morning (2012.01.19). unfortunately, i wasn’t able to go into the corridors again but the place essentially ‘felt’ the same — aged. i took some more pictures and hopefully i’ll be able to post it here soon.

i reside in a really old house where the wood has character lines and capiz is still in the windows.

Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take it’s place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.
my photos have my name on them. if you want to use them, please give credit.
my bike blog is bisikleta where i put anything and everything related to or even vaguely related to bicycles. so if you're looking for the bikes then that's the blog to go.visit if you're bored. :)
